Spring has sprung!
I think. We still got snow this week:)
But, the plants will be blooming soon. And for some, that means seasonal discomfort!
Good news! Essential oils are a very effective natural solution to deal with seasonal discomfort for everyone in the family.
There are a couple key blends you’ll want to have on-hand:
The first blend that’s awesome for respiratory support and easier breathing is the Breathe Respiratory Blend. Breathe is your go-to for easier breathing. It helps to minimize those annoying effects from seasonal changes and really helps maintain clear airways.
You can use Breathe topically under the nose or on the chest (make sure to dilute!), or you can diffuse it. When someone in the family is really struggling, this is the perfect blend to diffuse in the bedroom. It will ensure a restful night’s sleep. I love using Breathe for my family both topically and aromatically!
TriEase Seasonal Blend softgels are simply lemon, lavender, and peppermint essential oils. Lemon is cleansing and supportive to the respiratory system, Lavender is calming to the body, and Peppermint supports clear breathing and the respiratory system. These three together are a trifecta for seasonal discomfort.
You can definitely make your own soft gels by using doTERRA’s veggie caps and placing 2 drops of each essential oil into the cap, closing it, and taking it internally. You could even drop the oils in water. I love TriEase softgels because they are so easy to take, and they’re portable. You can’t make up your own veggie cap ahead of time because it will dissolve and you’ll have an oily mess.
You can take up to 2 TriEase per day, so I would do the same if I was making veggie caps myself, just do 1 in the morning and another one in the afternoon or evening if needed.
For kids, you can simply dilute 1-2 drops each of lemon, lavender, and peppermint and apply to the bottoms of their feet or along the spine.
Both Breathe and TriEase are must-have’s if anyone in your family struggles with seasonal discomfort! Enjoy the beautiful flowers instead of suffering this Spring.
