I talk about it all the time… my love of smoothies.
I put a handful or 2 of leafy greens into my breakfast smoothie every day. But I realize not everyone is ready for that.
And you don’t always have a high-speed blender available to pulverize your kale! While I would take my Vitamix everywhere if I could, I’m not sure it makes sense to pack it in my luggage (but if you have one of those bullet blenders, I would totally take it:) !!).
This is the perfect greens powder to add to your favorite smoothie whether you’re new to green smoothies, or you’re traveling and need a replacement for leafy greens.
Unlike many greens powders I’ve seen on the market, this one does not contain fructose, sugar, or artificial sweeteners.
TerraGreens is a fruit and vegetable mix that contains tons of greens, grasses (think wheatgrass), fruits, plus lemon and ginger essential oils. Unlike blending up kale and wheatgrass, TerraGreens tastes delicious on its own!
I love that it contains lemon and ginger essential oils too. Lemon is a great cleanser, and ginger supports digestion and settles the stomach.
If you want to try out green juice but don’t have a juicer, you can simply add a scoop of TerraGreens to 8oz of water!
I prefer the smoothie route.
This is my breakfast when I’m traveling:
- 10-12 ounces of water
- 1 scoop TerraGreens
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
Shake it all up in a shaker cup, have a piece of fruit on the side if you want, and you’ve got all your bases covered for a filling meal.
I often pack up this mixture into zip-top baggies so I don’t have to pack big containers.
What do you think? Are you up for trying TerraGreens?
